Nature of a City at Timberland, NY:
The Timberland Company partnered with Brooklyn publisher powerHouse Books to curated an original photography exhibit in celebration of the opening of its new 474 Broadway store, in the history-rich SoHo district. The collection of photographs, which debuted on March 27, 2009, reflected the style, spirit and authenticity shared by Timberland and New York City’s five thriving boroughs. The exhibit, entitled Nature of a City, features images from the powerHouse archives that capture the energy and vitality of a city that – like Timberland – is constantly evolving, creating and defying trends. For the exhibit, powerHouse and Timberland selected photos from New York-based photographers Janette Beckman, Vivian Cherry, Martha Cooper, Arlene Gottfried, Lisa Kahane, Maripol, Ricky Powell and Jamel Shabazz, which were installed as a photography and video installation in the store.

The powerHouse Library at Mansion, NY:
Mansion, New York, was the inspired creation of Eric Milon, the entrepreneur credited with re-launching the American Riviera on Miami’s South Beach, and Mark Baker, the godfather of New York City nightlife. Within the 10,000-square-foot Main Ballroom with its 35-foot dome ceiling resided The powerHouse Library, the centerpiece of the mezzanine. Featuring a selection of powerHouse Books’ latest releases and classic backlist titles, the Library was the site for an exclusive series of launch parties and private receptions in conjunction with art shows in the gallery.

Glitterati Incorporated:
In 2014, Glitterati launched The Click and The Chic, weekly columns on photography and style curated by Miss Rosen. Each edition spotlights a notable figure, organization, or event, offering a thoughtful and considered look at a life’s work in the arts. Miss Rosen curates all content for The Click and The Chic, coordinating all editorial, design, production, distribution, and syndication of the feature stories.
